IMPROVEMENTS AND REPAIR FOR CONCRETE FLOORS, DAMAGED EPOXY FLOORS
- Remove existing coating (if any) such as epoxy, glue, sealer, hardener or other chemical coating by using a grinder with 30 grit alloy disc.
- Obturate, repairing cracks and big holes on concrete surfaces (if any) by using specialized chemicals, such as SIKA, BASF ... and you must check the concrete floor is in good condition, non-rotten concrete.
- Grind roughly with 50 grit alloy grinding disc.
- Grind with diamond grinding disc #100 grit.
- Continue to grind with #200-grit diamond disc.
- Apply a layer of densify chemical to the Xtreme Hard - Liquid Hardener / Densifier (Made In USA)
- Wait until the chemical infiltrates to the concrete surface, about 20 minutes. When the surface is dried, polish with a 400-grit diamond disc.
- Continue polishing with 800-grit diamond disc (grinding on customer request)
- Apply a layer of chemical dye to decorate the concrete acording to the design (for decorating the concrete floor). Wait about 25 minutes until the surface is completely dried and then clean the surface again.
- A layer of Xtreme Hard may be added (depending on the purpose or requirement).
- Polish one last time with a 1500 or 3000-grit diamond pad. You can use a high-speed polishing pad with soft pads (depending on the desired gloss level).
