PROCESS  OF  COMPLETE TROWELING

1. REQUIREMENTS ON CONCRETE

• Ensure the proper slump of concrete is 10 + (-) 2
• Ensure the materials have same color (cement, sand, stone ...)
• The time between the vehicles which supply the concrete from 7 to 12 minutes / vehicle  (depending on the construction conditions ...)
• No more than 30 minutes / vehicle to ensure the surface is unified.

Step 1: Concreting

• Supply fresh concrete to the site.
• Check coffrage floor and wire mesh before pumping concrete.
• Spread a good adhesive layer (eg Sika latex ...) on the old concrete floor after cleaning (in case of applying new concrete on old concrete).
• Scratch off, spread the material acording to the desired height.
• Take the height according to the predetermined level by the machine, laser machine.
• Check the finish directly on the concrete floor.

Step 2: Troweling for the finish

• Wait  from 2h-> 3h until the concrete is drained (depending on weather).
• Use power ride-on machine to trowel the surface of the concrete.
• Spread the colour powder hardener (chapdur Green, Gray ...) by hand on concrete floor with the norm of 4kg / m2. (If required).
• Use a self-propelled trowel machine and a manual trowel machine until the floor is smoothy and glossy.

2. MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Cover the colourless nylon or canvas after polishing the floor.
• Use a shower faucet to irrigate  the entire floor during the 14-day maintenance period.
• Limit worker’ s traveling and working in the area when the floor has been smoothed out.
• The troweling proccess  has been completed.
• Cut the joint floor (depth 2-> 3cm) in 02 days after, divide it acording to the design.
